Pilih Kasih is a reality show handle by RTM. A show that is created by a famous, dedicated and well known actor, Rosyam Nor. Ambition behind the idea of coming out with Pilih Kasih is that the actor would love to find and search out for a new breed of actor or actress. New breed that will pave the new generation of actors and actress that will able to replace the veterans that is already in the business for many years.

The approach of the show just like Akadami Fantasi that contestants will compete on the weekends and also there will be a Jurnal Harian on contestants daily activities. Pilih Kasih will be host by two most famous hosts that is Raja Azura and Reza Mohamed whereby for the Jurnal Harian will be handle by new comer in the industry,Pasha Abdul Rahim.

Pilih Kasih still maintaining the same format of viewer votes to ensure their favored contestant stay in the reality show. Contestants will be given chances to show the talent on the weekend. The viewers will be entertain with 90 minutes that is base on 3 segments:

1. short film
2. script play
3. monologue acting

But the production have come out with a twist to the show. The final elimination decision will be made by Rosyam Nor himself between two lowest votes of the week. Rosyam Nor have come out with this idea is to ensure the talent and potential to blossom in television and also big screen are not being waste. Talents from eliminated contestant will not go into waste as RTM will be launching 13 more new shows that will provide them with huge opportunity to fill in the television program.
